Meet the Coaches
Anna Morrow
Coach
Anna spent much of her childhood on the water in boats, and fell in love with sailboat racing after joining her high school sailing team. In 2021, she moved to Bellingham to attend WWU and started assistant coaching at Whatcom Sailing. She competed on the WWU sailing team from 2021-2025, and served as co-captain for two years. She has 10 years of experience instructing sailing at a variety of places, most recently the Bellingham Bay Community Boating Center (CBC), in addition to the Whatcom Sailing high school team.

Cooper Snell
Coach
Cooper grew up sailing Lido 14s and Sabots during summers with his grandpa. He caught the racing bug while competing for WWU’s sailing team and has raced FJs up and down the west coast. Cooper is certified as a US Sailing Level 3 Coach and Level 3 Head Instructor. He has coached all levels of youth sailors in Bellingham, including CBC’s Middle School Team, CBC’s ILCA Team, Western’s sailing team, and Whatcom Community Sailing’s High School Team.
